Happy Color™ – Color by Number Review

Happy Color™ – Color by Number is the application for paining on your smartphone. It was launched by X-Flow for the Android and iOS platforms. This app had more than 50 million installs on Google Play only. Happy Color is a completely free app for downloading, installing, and using.

Graphics and Sound 10/10

The design of Happy Color is pretty simple. All you can do there is just select the image you want to paint over. That’s all! But, what we especially want to note, is the coloring process. The whole picture is divided into numbers, where the number corresponds to a certain color. Sometimes there are very small areas; however, you will not feel any inconvenience. The Happy Color app uses an advanced touchscreen mechanism that instantly reacts to the touch.

Controls 10/10

The controls are responsive and simple. You should tap your finger on the screen to color pictures. Happy Color requires access to the following information on your mobile device:

  • Location;
  • Storage;
  • Wi-fi connection information;
  • Photos, Videos, and other media files, etc.

As usual, our strong recommendation is also to read Privacy Policy before downloading the application on your mobile phone. The link to the Terms you can find on the Happy Color download page (on Apple Store or Google Play).

Gameplay 10/10

Our verdict — Happy Color was created to reduce stress. The coloring process is very meditative and soothing. Happy Color has dozens of outstanding pictures, starting from the landscapes and animals to technologies and flowers. All of them are bright and contain a lot of different colors. Overall, there are 5 000 pictures. The great news is that they are completely free!

All images are divided into four large categories:

  • Animals: lions, bears, birds, and so on;
  • Places: real buildings from different parts of the world;
  • Hobbies: pictures from various activities, including sport, puzzles, board games, etc.;
  • Flowers: to tell the truth, it is our favorite category. You will be impressed by the flowers you can find here.

Lasting Appeal 9/10

There are many colorful pictures, you can color all of them, and you will not be bored. Although the application is completely free to install and download, it contains the advertising and offers in-app purchases. The prices are relatively low: from $2 to $7.5.

Conclusion

Happy Color™ is a great application to reduce stress by enjoying the coloring on your mobile device. It has long been proven that drawing is a very effective method to combat depression and stress. And, if you download Happy Color, then you can do it anytime and anywhere. The app is available on the Android and iOS platforms. Users can install it from Google Play or Apple Store. Although Happy Color is free for downloading and installing, it contains ads and in-app purchases. The prices start only from $2.
